U.A.D species info

Basic Info
U.A.Ds are a wingless alien dragon species living on the planet of Arkea. They have slim bodies and tails that vary in length. Each paw has four toes and sharp claws. They are intelligent and are able to understand and even speak any language they come across. They are friendly towards the humans on Arkea but they were not always that way. It took hundreds of years to get a U.A.D to cooperate and put up with humans. Nowadays, the U.A.D lives along side the human pets in the cities all across Arkea. U.A.Ds have manes that start at the top of the head, wraps around the neck, and extends down the back all the way to the base of the tail. It can go down the tail as well but this is an uncommon trait. They have two pairs of eyes that see very well in the dark and in low light. The teeth are razor sharp. The tongues of this species are a foot long and are usually coated in thick syrup-like saliva. They also have black circles on their cheeks. The size of these circles varies from individual to individual. They are believed to be the ancestors of Aquariark since both species share a similar mane. The blood and flesh of this species is Sapphire blue. The ears can be medium sized or long and are able to detect even the quietest of sounds. They are able to breathe fire. U.A.Ds do not have human forms. they can live up to 150 years. age 120 is considered an age to retire.

Behavior
U.A.Ds are social creatures and love to hang out with other species. They enjoy being around humans, Aquariarks, other U.A.Ds etc. they do not like Jaegers all too much. Each of them has their own personality. It is somewhat normal for a U.A.D to be hostile if they are around the wrong type of crowd. Some have even committed crimes.

Markings and colors
U.A.Ds are unique. No two U.A.D have the same markings, not even twins. Markings can be anything from swirls to shapes, to curved lines, you name it. Markings can be simple or complex. It is up to the individual. Each U.A.D can have up to four different colors. Rainbow colors do not exist. The colors do not have to match or correspond to the primary marking color. They do have base colors however. They can have black, white, or other colors for the base color. The mane is always a pale color of any color. The color of the mane is also the color of the claws. The inside of the ears and mouth will most likely be the second color on the body. The eye colors do not match any color on the body so the eyes can be any color. They can even be different colored. For example, a U.A.D with green irises can have yellow irises in the second pair of eyes. The color of the syrup-like saliva is the color of the inside of the ear.

Saliva flavors
U.A.Ds have thick syrup-like saliva and it is always flavored. These are the only flavors a U.A.D can have.

Names
U.A.Ds can have unusual names. They are mostly named after various foods, drinks, candies, and colors but it is possible for a U.A.D to have a human or alien name. A U.A.D named after objects is uncommon.

Mating and reproduction
U.A.Ds reaches sexual maturity at age 19. Once they reach this age, they are ready to mate. They will leave the home of the human pet they live with and search for their own mate. U.A.Ds only mate with other U.A.Ds, no other species! They do not fall in love with other species. To them, gender does not matter. If two males or two females want to mate, they can. They are not discriminated against. However, couples consisting of a male and a female can reproduce. Female and male couples must adopt to obtain an offspring. U.A.Ds have genitals. They do not have a mating season so they can mate as often as they would like. Mating lasts from a few minutes to an hour. It takes at least a couple tries for a pregnancy to result. Pregnancy lasts for 3 months and an egg will be laid. U.A.D females normally produce a clutch of 2-4 eggs but clutches of 8 and even 10 have been found. Any unwanted egg will be given up for adoption. Females can give up all of her eggs if she chooses to. Once the eggs are laid, each parent will take turns incubating. The eggs will hatch two months later.

Mutations
Genetic mutations are rare among U.A.Ds and will result in something being out of the ordinary. Here is the list of mutations.

Abnormal coloring (being all black, all white or one solid color little to no markings)
Albino
Sphinx (will not have a mane)
Forked tail
Six eyes
Two eyes (only has two eyes. either two large eyes or two small eyes)
No eyes
Cheek fins
No tail
Super long tail
Horns (will only have two horns)
Reaper (will have bone markings and will appear very thin)

Senses
U.A.Ds have excellent senses. Their four eyes are capable of seeing in low light conditions. The smaller pair of eyes can see heat. They are able to literally smell fear and can sniff out their prey. Their ears can detect even faint sounds.

Clothing and jewelry
U.A.Ds rarely wear clothes since they find it uncomfortable but certain clothing items can be found on a U.A.D. scarves, hats, coats, shorts, certain shirts, fingerless gloves and toeless socks, belts, and hoodies are commonly worn. As for jewelry, U.A.Ds love jewelry and piercings. They can wear all kinds of jewelry.

Diet
U.A.Ds are carnivorous creatures and will eat any type of meat, except for Aquariark, human and other U.A.Ds. Obviously, cannibals are an exception. They like to snack on various metals and even coal to fuel their flames. Even gems are considered treats. They like to eat desserts after their main meal.
